Wedding season in the UK is underway, and being a stylish bride without spending a fortune is now SO easy. You’re spoilt for choice.
When it comes to looking for bridal jewellery that will look great and doesn’t blow your budget out of the water, start with thinking about the kind of bridal styling you want to create – whether you’d prefer a bridal jewellery set or a curated mix of different jewellery pieces.
Working out your ideal look for your wedding day – and the accessories to bring this to life – might seem daunting initially as there is so much choice. But there’s no need to feel overwhelmed. We’d recommend putting together a Pinterest board and collecting key images that inspire you to make the process more fun. If you’re having a theme, for example, search for images that match that theme and see how they come together on a Pinterest board.
Drawing inspiration from other people’s weddings is a great place to start as there are so many images on social networks such as Pinterest and Instagram to take inspiration from. Using hashtags like #bridaljewellery should give you the chance to find all kinds of bridal jewellery sets that match different themes.
Traditionally, bridal jewellery is often dainty and delicate. Right now though, there are so many more options to create whatever bridal jewellery style you want – whether that’s bold and striking pieces, like our chunky hoop earrings or some of our more abstract earring charms, or whether you prefer that’s something more akin to dainty sparkling hoop earrings with crystals or pearls. Most designs are available in gold or silver, as opposed to rose gold (which is rarer) and other colourways such as oxidised silver.
There’s now a lot of scope to tune your bridal jewellery set to your own individual style. Below are some tips for maximising your choices to make sure you’ve thought of everything when it comes to the jewellery for your wedding day.
It sounds obvious, but in case you’ve not already thought of it, choose your jewellery after you know what the rest of your outfit will look like.
Ultimately, you want your bridal jewellery to suit the outfit you’ve chosen, particularly around the neckline if you plan to wear a necklace. Wear jewellery pieces that accentuate your dress or two-piece without overshadowing it - unless you’re going for a very statement look - in which case, anything goes!
A good tip for your necklace is that you’ll probably want it to sit on your skin, not on your dress; so choose longer necklaces with pendants for V-neck dresses or chokers for strapless dresses and top halves with lower necklines.
Wedding jewellery has gone through many different trends and styles over the years (think what your mum, aunt or family members wore at their weddings). If you tend to wear more conservative jewellery day-to-day, statement pieces aren’t essential if you’d be more comfortable in something more modest. Don’t feel you have to go all-out just because it’s your wedding day (unless, of course, that is what you want to).
We recommend choosing earrings, necklaces, rings and any other jewellery that aligns with what you love. Do still experiment, but don’t feel the need to sacrifice your own style. Remain true to yourself and the rest will fall into place.
Don’t forget about sentimentality; if there are any sentimental pieces in your or your family’s jewellery collection, consider how you might work them into your outfit if that’s important to you. Family heirlooms or cherished gifts can make the day feel even more special. If you do want to include them, choose these first and build the rest of your wedding jewellery set around these pieces.
We’ve had brides who have worn their own diamond hoop earrings and accessorised them with our earring charms (the Ada pearl earring charm is a popular choice). We’ve also had brides who have bought one of our necklaces and customised it with a family pendant they already owned.
If you want to do this, we recommend buying a gold charm clip or a silver one, as your existing pendant may be able to go onto the charm clip and onto the necklace you’ve chosen.
Wearing jewellery with a deeper meaning and customising it or reinventing it with our jewellery is one way of making your wedding style your own.
As many people know, the saying “Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue” is an old adage for what to wear on your wedding day. You can use this as a structure for how to think about your jewellery too, meaning stones such as aquamarines or man-made sapphires from our birthstone jewellery collection could be the ideal choice for complementing your bridal jewellery set.
When it comes to finding wedding jewellery, many jewellery brands will have their own bridal jewellery collections to build your set from.
This is an ideal place to start if you’re looking for inspiration. You’ll typically find a lot of gold and silver jewellery, with pearls also very popular at the moment. Don’t be shy to mix and match across brands in search of the perfect jewellery – combining different brands and curating your own combination is half the fun.
We’ve seen quite a few brides opt for our huggies for their wedding day - particularly the Celeste and Callie huggies as they offer subtle sparkle that is stylish and feels relatively classic, whilst not detracting from their dress or chosen outfit.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that weddings typically involve more than just the ceremony, and that you might want different outfits or jewellery for all of these occasions:
One way to simplify your jewellery collection is to have a selection of different earring charms for each moment, swapping them as and when needed – such is the beauty of the NUE Hoops concept.
Styling for each day can be really fun and easy with our interchangeable earring charms, you can wear a single pair of hoop earrings and switch the charms as you like . This can completely change the look and feel of your outfit , whether you need something playful from our party jewellery when you’re on your hen do, or something more classic, and unmistakably bridal when walking down the aisle on your wedding day.
Finally, here are some tips when choosing jewellery for you bridesmaids.
If you’re going down the earring charm route, you could match your bridesmaids’ hoops and choose charms just for them, – such as birthstone charms. The same goes for necklace charms.
Alternatively, you might wish to have your bridesmaids mix and match their earrings, with one of the same charm to signify unity with you, along with a charm of their choice to express their individuality. The nature of having interchangeable charms means that they can enjoy their jewellery beyond your wedding day as well.
Your bridesmaids could also choose their own combinations of charms, leaving the matching to the hoops, tying your outfits together in a more subtle way.
We have a large collection of bridal jewellery including on-trend necklaces as well as hoop earrings and earring charms – meaning you can customise your jewellery with our interchangeable charms. We only sell online but have fast UK delivery (next working day options available), or you can use our international shipping option which can arrive in around 5 days.
Most jewellery brands and jewellers will be open to helping you with personalised recommendations - for you or your bridesmaids and family members. We love helping you find the perfect jewellery for your wedding and have helped many brides on Instagram and our website chat, guiding them with their choices. If you want to email us for more in-detail questions, definitely get in touch - we’d love to help.

]]>We're focused on sustainable jewellery that is made from recycled silver, as well as gold and silver jewellery that has a sustainable concept. We do this via our interchangeable concept that allows you to up-cycle, as well as repurpose your gold or silver hoop earrings or necklaces by reinventing them to create more ethical jewellery.
]]>Being an ethical jewellery brand is about considering the impact on people and the planet at every step – from inception through to how the jewellery is worn.
We think that to achieve a better ethical status jewellery brands should consider the following:
Designers and suppliers in the business of more ethical and sustainable jewellery lines have already made great strides in recent years but it’s an ongoing conversation.
When we founded NUE Hoops we made a conscious decision to be as ethically sound as possible - from product to packaging. We decided sustainability was something important to us because if we were going to set up a new business, we wanted to have a positive impact on the world.
As we’ve gone from side-hustle to a full-time operating business, NUE Hoops founder Victoria Darby (Mumma NUE, CEO and Product Director) has been implementing the switch to recycled silver across the range:
“As our hoops are made exclusively for us, it was the first place where we could push for recycled silver to be used. Last year, we worked with our supplier to switch to buying recycled silver for the manufacture all of our classic hoops. This is now well established and we are delighted that all the collection is now made in this way. Our huggies, simple chains and bobble chains are also made from recycled silver. As well as selected charms currently made in Italy. The process of making jewellery often involves a lot of waste from offcuts. With our suppliers in Italy and in our UK workshop, offcuts are collected, melted down and reused. No purity is lost in the process of melting sterling silver from offcuts – it still produces a sterling silver outcome.”
Our classic hoops also now have ‘e-coating’ – something that is becoming increasingly commonplace in the demi-fine jewellery market. An electrical current is used to cover the metal surface with an organic lacquer which protects the metal, ensuring it doesn't fade. This coating makes jewellery waterproof and therefore helps it retain its lustre, giving it a longer life.
While we cannot yet claim that all our charms are made from recycled silver (to date around 41% of our charms are). The challenge with this is that we work with a diverse range of small suppliers buying relatively small quantities of each charm, and each supplier has their own established practices. We are constantly evolving towards a more sustainable line of charms though. Since introducing gemstones to our charm collection, we are working with a supplier who provides us with certified gemstones. We’ve introduced lab-grown sapphires, natural garnets, a natural amethyst, natural emeralds (coming soon) and a triple A-grade peridot (coming soon) to the collection.
Sourcing sustainable packaging for NUE Hoops was a well-trodden path and we were quickly able to produce 100% recyclable postage boxes. The boxes themselves are made from 60% recycled cardboard. For our fabric pouch, we looked into all sorts of natural fabrics like silk, cotton and bamboo but nothing was working in terms of the experience and the eco credentials. In the end, we settled on the faux suede made using recycled polyester which felt like the most economical and low impact option that created the right look and feel. Due to having a lot of repeat customers (each month we have around 35% repeat orders) we designed paper envelopes that are also recyclable so that customers who already had our jewellery pouches had an eco-friendly option (available at the checkout). Our loyal customers helped us with this move, as Emily Roberts (Head of Operations & Finance) explains:
“When we grew quickly, our biggest spenders told us the pouch just wasn’t necessary for every order – they had stacks of them. Changing this involved a rethink on our packaging and operational processes. We’re nimble and pride ourselves on being responsive, so it felt good to know we were doing the right thing in this instance, so it was a good outcome for all.”
As a modular jewellery brand, durability and versatility are at the heart of what we do, building on core pieces – hoops, huggies and necklaces – and using recycled materials whilst promoting restyling has been key to us avoiding being part of the throw-away fast fashion culture.
We believe you should be able to be stylish and feel happy about your consumption. We offer this more than any other jewellery brand because of the sustainable nature of our interchangeable concept.
Our future goals for NUE Hoops include setting up a recycling scheme for old jewellery (something that might be challenging, but something we feel strongly about). We also want to offer customers the option to get their existing hoops re-plated. Finding a way to encourage people to do this, while also being able to offer the service sustainably, will be key, as the cost of replating hoops is around 50% of the cost of a new pair.
Probably the biggest areas we still have to tackle are supply chain transparency and decreasing our carbon footprint. Partnering with brands, charities and people who are trying to do something positive in the world will be integral to this.
The retail platform Farly.co is essentially a digital flea market where users can buy, sell and curate items through a virtual shop window. Our most sustainable items are listed on the platform in NUE Hoops’ ‘shoppable windows’, that you can shop directly from.
We don’t yet have the power or resources enjoyed by more established jewellery brands, but we do have the ability to be responsive and innovative. We have proven ourselves in this area in our three years and our intention is to carry on with that. By sharing our endeavours to make NUE Hoops increasingly sustainable, we are committed to being open with you, and communicating our sustainable journey in the hope that you’ll come on it with us.
Ultimately, our goal is to offer beautiful, cleverly designed jewellery which empowers you to be creative to wear it in new ways, giving it greater longevity and so that it continues to bring joy each time it is re-invented.

]]>We’re happy to share that all our customers who donated during the Black Friday sale weekend raised £323, making our matched total £647. We topped-up the total and added £1 for everyone who shopped but didn’t donate (if you were shopping with ShopPay for example, you wouldn’t have seen the donations box) meaning we got to a total value of £972 raised.
Refuge have received the funds and they’re delighted and have thanked us for the donation. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and shopped, it was great to be able to raise money for charity during such a busy weekend.
In terms of both looking back and forward, we’re very grateful to everyone who filled out our survey in July. It has given us valuable feedback for this year and for 2022 - which will be NUE Hoops’ third year.
As always, happy customers are our top priority. We hope you have a great December and thank you again for being part of the NUE Crew.
]]>We'll be running two discounts, one for 25% off for people on our mailing list, and one which will be publicly available if you don't want to sign up, which will give you 20% off.
You can:
Shop early! Some of our items were almost sold out by 7am last year. We hope that won’t happen again this year - we’ve stocked as much as possible to make sure, but just in case, we encourage you to start shopping early.
Use the Wish List - plan in advance and use your wish list to save the items you want to buy, that way you can quickly add them to your cart and checkout with everything in your basket.
Please try and order just once - it saves on postage, packaging and your order is less likely to get delayed. It also helps everyone’s orders get into the post more quickly.
If you need extra pouches or multiple sets of elevated packaging for gifts, these can be added to your cart when you checkout. If you leave us clear instructions in your checkout notes and a number to call you on if we need it, we’ll be able to pack your order as you like it.
We want to raise money for Refuge this weekend. So, there will be an option to donate at checkout and whatever you donate, we'll match. If you're using ShopPay or Express Checkout you won't see the donate box, so please be aware of this if you want to donate.
We will be packing orders from early on Friday morning and over the weekend. How long your order will take to get to you will depend on two things:
If your order is on a normal postage option, it’s likely to take longer. We estimate that, depending on the number of orders, we will be able to clear the Black Friday backlog in approximately one week, if not less. So, to be cautious please add around 7 days from when you order for your estimated delivery if you're ordering within the UK and on a standard free postage option. We will update postage estimates when we know more over the course of the sale.
Happy Shopping!

What style of jewellery do you want to get them? What styles do they love? And which size is right for them?
We’ve designed this quick guide to help you choose the perfect earrings so that your gift can create maximum joy.
1. Do they wear gold or silver in their ears?
Some people wear only gold, or only silver jewellery in their ears. So it’s always worth checking which metal they prefer, especially when it comes to piercings. Gold is more popular across the board at the moment, but it’s always worth checking. We generally advise people to buy our gold classic hoops if they have sensitive ears as gold is a less reactive metal. None of our hoops are made of brass, so you can be sure they won’t be putting brass into their ears.
2. Do they wear sparkling or solid metal jewellery?
Consider whether they like some sparkle or prefer solid metals - or even a little bit of both? All our classic & chunky hoops are solid metal. Our contemporary hoops sparkle. In charms and huggies, we also have a mix, so there’s something for both tastes. You can have a sparkling hoop with a plain metal charm and vice versa. Check recent photos of them, their jewellery box, or ask just them what their dream jewellery is at the moment, to give you clues.
3. Do you want to get something for them to wear everyday or for a special occasion?
This will help you decide on the charms and hoops to pick - go smaller on both hoops and charms for everyday jewellery. Our Everyday & Weekend collections will give you some inspiration. Our bigger charms tend to be designed for special occasions like parties and weddings.
4. Do you want to go classic or adventurous?
Generally you’ll know if they like to play it safe or prefer something more out there. If you want to play it safe, any of our Best Sellers, Pearls, Celestial and Tiny Charms will help you out. For something more adventurous, check out these charm collections: Conceptual, Love, Animals & Fortune.
If you want to for something on-trend, browse our Black Collection and Chunky Hoops.
1. What size are their lobes?
Do they have big lobes or tiny ones? Think about the size of their lobes when choosing the hoops you want to give them. This hoop buying guide will help you work this out.
2. Which piercing are you buying for?
If it’s the primary piercing (the first piercing in the ear) browse all our hoops, huggies might even fit small lobes in the primary piercing.
If you’re looking for something for an additional piercings, understand which piercing you’re buying for the upper lobe, daith, rook, cartilage. Make sure you get the measurements for that type of piercing and what it requires.
If you’re more confused than when you started - these final tips might help!
For more ideas, visit our GIFT SHOP or talk to us on the website chat.
We hope this helps you and gives you the tools to work out what their perfect gift could be.
Good luck!
If you’d like charms, stop here and read this. If you’re not thinking about charms, go straight to Q2.
When shopping for charms and hoops, the general rule is, find the charms you like first, and see which hoops we’ve styled them on. Check the size of the hoop we’ve used by checking the dimensions in the hoop page description, and see if it will fit you. See below how to size your lobes and tell.
Once you’ve sized up your lobes, you’ll know whether the hoops we’ve used will fit you. Size up or down on the hoops using the below info to help you decide which hoops to go for.
For styling, the general rule of thumb is, if you’re choosing a long charm, put it on a small hoop (so the Mini, Mili or for bigger lobes, the Mindy). Medium sized charms look good on most hoops, and tiny charms will generally go on any hoop too. If you want a glam, statement look, go big with your hoops.
If you look at them in the mirror, are they tiny, small, medium or large? Everyone’s ears are different sizes and shaped differently. Some people’s earlobes are very narrow, some are more rounded.
Where is your piercing? Is it low, high or in the middle? The distance between your piercing and the edge of your ear is what you need to check when choosing a hoop that will fit.
Check the distance in mm from your piercing to the edge of your ear and compare this against the internal diameter of the hoop you’re interested in.
You want the internal diameter of the hoop to be the same distance (or larger) than the distance between your piercing and the edge of your ear, if it's going to fit.
Classic Hoops measurements:
As a general rule for primary piercings, this is how our sizes work:
If you want a more subtle look, opt for a smaller hoop. If you want a more glamorous, statement look, opt for a bigger hoop. For detailed information about the dimensions, always check the product description of our hoops.

]]>Zoe has 10 years of experience as a commercial, celebrity, and music stylist, and has several years of experience in the fashion design industry. She’s worked with artists including Ellie Goulding, Gabrielle Aplin, Emeli Sande among many others. She’s also founded clothing brands stocked in Topshop and Asos.com.
At the time of meeting, our party collection had just arrived, so we asked Zoe to take a look ahead of launch, and tell us how she’d style new and existing pieces of NUE Hoops jewellery with some of her favourite clothes and accessories. We also tapped her for tips for shopping this season, as well as about her party style icons and which designers she loves most.
I have two! I love Zoe Kravitz and Hailey Bieber. Zoe Kravitz has the most ethereal and paired back beauty. She keeps it simple but with an edge. Hailey is similar, but her edge is more ‘high gloss’.
Always be comfortable in what you’re wearing to a party. Don’t wear something that you’re constantly having to adjust. Comfortable is sexy - the two aren’t mutually exclusive. You never want to be one of those girls freezing in the queue to the club! Throw a jacket over something slinky and you’re ready to go.
An oversized black blazer goes with everything and adds an edge to your look. I’ll be throwing it over a slip dress or skimpy top for a simple, chic party look. Some chunky loafers are also on my list to pair with dresses and skirts. Pair skirts (for feminine styling) with chunky loafers (more masculine styling) for a comfortable and contemporary look. I’ll also be looking for more gold jewellery to add to my ever growing collection ; )
NUE Hoops: Calypso Twin, Milla Charm, Mika Charm, Christopher Charm, Gold Bobble Chain, Gold Simple chain.
Clothing: Stella McCartney Jacket. Magda Butrym Shirt Dress. Saint Laurent Pink Bag. Isabel Marant Boots.
I love vintage and second hand shopping, so I’ll be heading to Vestiaire, which is my go-to for designer bargains. I’ll be on the hunt for anything Stella McCartney, Magda Butrym and Saint Laurent.
For online shopping I think Arket has great quality pieces with the kind of tailoring you might get from an established designer brand. I also love Sandro, Ganni, Zadig & Voltaire, Acne and IRO. For the high street, I’m always impressed by Mango’s quality.
NUE Hoops: Mili Gold Hoops, Caggie Charm, Annie Charm, Gold Bobble Chain, Gold Simple chain.
Clothing: IRO camisole. Sandro Biker Jacket. Black & Brown belt. Mango jeans. Dear Frances boots. Wandler bag.
My favourite piece is the diamond spike [Milla charm], l like that it adds a subtle sparkle to your look and the spiked shape gives a streamlined but edgy feel.
NUE Hoops: Milla Charm. Ruby Gold Hoop. Claudia Emerald Charm. Mini Gold Hoop.

It's endlessly fascinating to see what captures people's imagination quickly and what takes longer to take hold. Some of our jewellery is an instant hit, some of it, like a fine wine, takes longer to catch on.
Early adopters (you know if that's you) have a knack of seeing things and connecting with them early before the penny drops with others.
So, when someone with a following sees potential in an item of jewellery in our collection, they inspire others and short-circuit the process.
Our Blair Gold Hoops, for example, were an instant hit with the three of us when they arrived at the end of 2020, but took a while to catch on - until later this year. At the time of writing, we have just have a few of them left.
Anna Cascarina and Isabel Spearman, two supporters of NUE Hoops saw potential in the Gold Blair Hoops and Huggies this year and both styled them worn together.
These images of how they wear them, make for the perfect example of how they can be worn together to complement each other. If you're feeling it, get your Blair Gold Hoops and Blair Gold Huggie before they sell out completely.
The Blair Silver Hoops could be up next, as whilst gold continues to lead in terms of demand, silver is starting to catch up. And chunky styling isn't going anywhere. So, get ahead and get your Blair Silver Hoops now.
Some of the new earring charms are conversation starters bound to catch the eye. Others are more subtle - some might say, elegant.
We worked with three models to bring new and original party pieces alive. Over the course of the day there were new faces as well as an original one. Our models are the perfect ambassadors for the brand - each unique personalities with their own style and distinct look.
Alice wears the Gold Simple Chain (45cm) with a Gold Ada charm added.
We first met Alice modelling at Bristol’s Arts Show Fuze in 2020 just before lockdown started. Fuze was an epic fashion, dance and vocal show produced by Bristol University students to an astoundingly high standard.
Alice has modelled for us on multiple occasions and now works as a part-time professional model. Her interest in fashion manifests itself through multiple routes: modelling, selling clothes on her Depop and finally, working part-time for fashion rental brand Hurr. Alice is passionate about sustainable fashion and loves working with small businesses.
“Circularity in fashion is important in the current climate crisis. Renting and selling second-hand clothing online enables us to reduce our impact on the environment. It also allows us to be more experimental and unique with our fashion choices."
"I love that the vintage items I sell are hard to find and therefore unique. I also love modelling as it offers a different insight into the industry and allows me to work with wonderful creative people.”
What’s your favourite new item in the party collection?
I loved the new Caggie charm (coming soon) paired with the Celeste Gold Huggie. I also loved the black pearl (coming soon) on the Gold Bobble Chain - so elegant!
Alice wears a Gold Aurora charm on the Mindy Gold Hoops, Calypso Hoops with a Black Eve (coming soon) and a cuff (coming in December). She also wears the Gold Simple Chain (35cm) and the Gold Bobble Chain (45cm) with a Black pearl charm (coming soon).
Which video did you like filming best?
My favourite video would have to be the ‘balloon pop’. It was so fun to film and I loved watching the other girls' reactions - so authentic : ) [Stay tuned on our social channels for 'balloon pop' videos...]
Alice wears the Gold Baz charm on the Mili Gold Hoop, alongside the Blair Gold Huggie and a cuff (coming in December). She also wears the Gold Padlock Necklace (40cm).
What was your highlight from the day?
I love working with the NUE Hoops team. The environment is always very comfortable and relaxed which is key to modelling. It doesn't feel like I'm working, it just feels like I'm having a fun day getting creative with friends. As a NUE Hoops customer I also love seeing the new charms before they're released. And of course the champagne is an added bonus!
Alice wears the Gold Simple Chain (35cm).
Pia is new member of the NUE Hoops family. We connected with her on Instagram this year. Now a pal of the brand, she's helped us grow our exposure by promoting our jewellery to her following (Calypso Hoops, Shaun and Eve; all in silver, are her personal favourites).
Pia works in styling and costume for TV commercials, music videos and magazine editorials.
She's worked with a few notable names and brands, including working on the Anthony Joshua x Under Armour ads, the popular grime-esque ASDA Back to School commercial (!); as well as assisting on Dua Lipa’s ‘Love Again’ music video and Rag’n’Bone Man’s ‘Alone’ music video.
Pia's many piercings make for a fun styling opportunity. She delighted the team during the shoot by sharing pictures and videos of her two adorable dogs (a pug, and pug french bulldog cross). Also invaluable: having her help with styling and outfits in the lead-up and on the day.
Pia wears the Magni Gold Hoops with the Bella charm; and two Mili Gold Hoops. She also wears the Gold Simple Chain (35cm) and the Gold Bobble Chain (40cm).
What was your favourite jewellery from the day?
Definitely the Blair Silver Hoops. They’re so chunky. I mostly wear silver so they’re the ones for me. I am trying to work a mix of gold pieces back into my jewellery collection though so I do also love the Mindy Gold Hoops.
Pia wears Silver Simple Chain (40cm).
Which outfit did you like modelling best?
The velvet cow print jumpsuit. It was the perfect length for me (rare in jumpsuits). This particular jumpsuit is a few years old, from Finery but feels very on trend. I also loved the green patent trucker jacket! (Pia’s own) which was such a good find (from & Other Stories).
Pia wears the Magni Silver Hoops, a Silver Shaun charm, Mili Silver Hoops, Simple Silver Cuff (coming in December) & the Silver Simple Chain (40cm).
Olivia is a professional actor, singer, dancer and model. She’s most famous for her role in Penny on M.A.R.S, which aired on the Disney Channel. She worked with us to bring to life a number of looks including charms such as Gabriel and Ada as well our new Little Black Dress collection (coming in November).
Olivia wears a Silver Simple Chain (35cm), a Silver Christopher charm on a Silver Bobble Chain (45cm).
Olivia wears Gabriel Silver on the Mili Silver Hoop, a Callie Silver Huggie and a cuff (coming in December).
Olivia wears: Ada Silver on the Black Enamel Hoop (coming in November), the Mini Silver Hoop with an Eve in Black (coming in November) and a cuff (coming in December). Around her neck she wears a Silver Simple Chain (35cm), a Silver Christopher charm on a Silver Bobble Chain (45cm).

Charm coming soon. Hoops: Mili Gold Hoop & Ruby Big Sister Hoop.
Guests are tasked with being inventive, making a statement and being on theme with their sartorial choices.
Arguably New York's most illustrious fundraiser - it's one of the most exclusive and visually exciting fashion events of the year, enabling the guests to be the first to see the exhibition itself.
Diana Vreeland, Vogue's former editor-in-chief, laid the foundations for the gala to evolve from a standard New York society event into one of the most sought after balls in the world, when as chairman of the Costume Institute, she became instrumental in developing the guest list by expanding it to include a global audience of rock stars and celebrities.
Since Anna Wintour took over as the chairman of the Costume Institute in 1995, the Gala had raised an estimated $200million up to 2019.
The creativity, showmanship and imagination that fashion designers and stylists make guests part of the exhibit themselves. The best outfits should wow, make a statement as well as make the wearer look utterly irresistible. Some might create political statements and capture the zeitgeist.

Our aim was to create a jewellery collection for weddings and brides that was beautiful, on-trend and affordable. We wanted to give you stylish jewellery that featured a selection of whimsical, classic, chic and bold jewellery; as well as cute and eye-catching pieces. Pearls (big and tiny) feature heavily, as well as statement styles that can be created by you, using our chunky hoops.
Our focus on creating affordable, yet aspirational-looking wedding jewellery complements a trend that has gathered a lot of momentum in recent years.
Thanks to both mainstream and niche brands, you can now get stunning and stylish bridal clothing for under or around £1,000; and when you think the average UK bride spends between £300 - £2,000 and often more - on just their dress, that’s not so bad...
Brands like Reformation, ASOS, Needle & Thread, Rixo and Olivia Rubin all offer trendy options for less than a grand, which leaves us questioning whether the big ticket wedding dress is actually worth it?
Monsoon has romantic lacy dresses that take inspiration from the pre-raphaelites, as well as modern bridal stalwarts. Ghost offers elegant satin wedding dresses starting at £195.
For more modern tailoring, Galvan London have a collection of silk slips and slinky halter neck dresses starting from £675.
If you want something more out there, Solace London offers modern abstract dresses and jumpsuits that are visually exciting. They’re also at the more affordable end of the market, with items starting at £310. Clover London’s dresses are fun and non-traditional and each priced at £1,000.
For fashion forward pieces you’d more likely find on the runway, go to The Fall, which might be a personal favourite...It has a carefully curated selection of dresses, from vintage inspired delicate organza dresses to 60's style wool mini dresses as well as playful veils. Prices are around the £1k mark.
Finally, for a one stop shop for pre-wedding fun, head to Gigi & Olive for the ultimate hen and honeymoon accessories.

Florence Pugh wears our Beatrice Bee charm on the Mili Gold Hoops. A playful choice that is different, yet easy to wear. Spotted on her Instagram Stories in August 2021 doing a cook-along, she mixed and matched Beatrice Bee with a pearl on her other ear, similar to our Ada one. You can get a real sense of Florence's fun-loving spirit on her Instagram. She exemplifies the experimentation and creativity we see in so many of our customers. We also loved her in Greta Gerwig's Oscar & BAFTA nominated film, Little Women.
The original Boho style queen of the noughties, actor Sienna Miller, was papped in July 2021 wearing our Serena Gold Hoops in her second piercing. Unwavering in her personal style, Sienna represents the stylish boho tribe in every way. She provides the perfect inspiration for anyone wanting to create a low-key, free-spirited style that is rich in texture and interest. Layering up with a Serena Hoop in her second hole alongside the tassel earrings (we don't sell) is visually interesting, as well as cool.

Stacey Dooley, one of our favourite TV presenters, never seems to shy away from bold choices - she manages to pick items that are different whilst being of the moment and classic all at once. Her clever styling adds cool credentials with an individual vibe all her own. She chose Benedetta, and is seen here in a selfie from her Instagram, wearing it on a Mini Gold Hoop, fronted by a Mili Gold Hoop. A simple yet beautiful and interesting combination.
